- Google has announced “Video Remix,” a new feature launched in the “Create” tab of Google Photos.
- This feature uses AI to edit videos stored in Google Photos according to templates available within Video Remix.
- Available to “Google AI Plus,” “Google AI Pro,” and “Google AI Ultra” members.
On Wednesday, July 8, 2026 (local time), Google announced “Video Remix,” a new feature now rolling out in the “Create” tab of the online photo library service, Google Photos.
The newly launched “Video Remix” is a feature that uses AI to edit videos saved in Google Photos based on a variety of available templates. At launch, there are 15 templates to choose from.
Please note that videos generated with “Video Remix” are limited to a maximum of 10 seconds. Additionally, you cannot select videos longer than one minute (60 seconds) for editing using this feature.






The “Video Remix” feature in Google Photos is available within the Google Photos app on Android and iOS for “Google AI Plus,” “Google AI Pro,” and “Google AI Ultra” members. It is currently available in the following regions: the United States, Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea, Turkey, and Japan.
