The “Pixel Phone Simulator,” a virtual touch-and-try site for Google Pixel devices that Google launched on Friday, August 18, 2023, was abruptly shut down in late June 2026 without any warning.

The Pixel Simulator was originally launched as a dedicated site for Google Pixel devices, allowing users to explore the hardware and software of Google Pixel smartphones from the “Pixel 5” onwards, following the tutorial style of the “Pixel Tips” app. It initially gained some attention for offering features like a 360-degree 3D simulator and detailed explanations of how to use various built-in features on each device.

Up until the “Pixel 10” series, the lineup on the Pixel Simulator was refreshed alongside the announcements of new Google Pixel devices.

However, the budget-friendly “Pixel 10a,” which was announced in February 2026 and released from March 2026 onwards, was never added to the lineup. It was discontinued without ever being featured on the site. Currently, if you try to access the Pixel Simulator (pixel.withgoogle.com), you are automatically redirected to the official Google Pixel Help site.

Another Google service has come to an end. RIP.
