  • Google has updated the release notes originally published for the latest “Google Health” app version v5.0.1, re-releasing them as app version v5.0.1.1.
  • The content remains essentially the same as the original v5.0.1 release notes.
  • While there are no visible UI changes, it is likely that internal bug fixes and minor improvements were added to version v5.0.1.1.

In mid-June 2026, Google updated the release notes for the latest version of the “Google Health” app (formerly the “Fitbit” app), re-issuing them as an update for version v5.0.1.1.

The content of the v5.0.1.1 release notes is virtually identical to the original v5.0.1 notes. It outlines 14 items across nutrition management, fitness and activity, sleep features, and other general improvements. Although the version number has been incremented from v5.0.1 to v5.0.1.1, the feature set remains the same.

It is likely that version v5.0.1.1 contains internal bug fixes or optimizations that are not immediately apparent to the user. The update for the “Google Health” app v5.0.1.1 is already being rolled out.
