Josh Woodward (@joshwoodward), Head of the Google AI Gemini app, reported an issue currently affecting the Gemini app on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 (local time).
The issue in the Gemini app involves users encountering errors when sending prompts. Regardless of the AI model being used—such as “3.1 Flash-Lite,” “3.5 Flash,” or “3.1 Pro”—errors are occurring in approximately 90% of attempts when sending prompts.
Google is currently rolling out fixes to resolve this disruption, and the process is nearing completion. It is expected that service will be restored very soon.
Service outages for the Gemini app are quite rare, making this a highly unusual occurrence. Could this perhaps be a hint of an upcoming update?
