On Wednesday, June 10, 2026 (local time), Google announced the integration of its AI, “Gemini,” into “Google Business Profile,” a management tool designed for stores and businesses.
The integration of Gemini into Google Business Profile will be available through an opt-in feature. By connecting Gemini to a Google Business Profile, the AI gains access to profile data such as customer reviews, questions, and performance metrics. This allows users to ask Gemini questions about their profile, request draft responses for customer reviews, and identify areas for improvement or errors in their profile management.
In addition, Google is rolling out “Business notebooks,” a new workspace where users can consolidate their Google Business Profile, company website, and internal materials or data within the Gemini app. With “Business notebooks,” users can leverage Gemini to analyze business trends, develop creative content for promotional campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and receive suggestions for new market opportunities based on the connected data sources.
The Gemini integration for Google Business Profile and the launch of “Business notebooks” will be rolled out globally in stages, excluding the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK.
