The “Communities” feature for the Android “Google Play Games” app was initially announced in March 2026 as a new feature for English-language environments. It provides dedicated spaces for specific game titles where users can share questions, answers, and gameplay strategies with each other.
With this latest expansion, Google has announced support for Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Users will be able to utilize the “Communities” feature in the Android “Google Play Games” app in Japanese starting with version 51.3 or higher of the Android “Google Play Store” app.
