In the April 2026 edition of the “Google System Release Notes,” released on Monday, April 13, 2026—which summarizes updates for the “Google System Updates” that improve the security and reliability of Android-related devices—Google has officially announced a UI refresh for the Android version of its digital wallet management service, “Google Wallet.”
While the UI refresh for the Android “Google Wallet” app was confirmed to have begun rolling out to some Android devices starting in early April 2026, this official announcement comes with a slight delay.

With the refreshed UI, the Android “Google Wallet” app features a significant redesign, particularly for “Passes,” which have shifted from a vertical list to a tile-based layout. Additionally, the “See all” option at the bottom of the screen displays “Google Wallet” usage history. A new search bar has also been added to the top of the screen, allowing users to search for “Recent transactions,” “Payment methods,” “Loyalty cards,” and more.
In short, the Android “Google Wallet” app has not only received a UI overhaul but also a new search functionality. This UI update for the Android “Google Wallet” app is rolling out via Google Play services version 26.14 or later.
