- Google has expanded the AI-integrated beta version of its financial information service, “Google Finance,” to over 100 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Mexico, and Japan.
- The update introduces research features that allow for comprehensive answers to detailed financial questions (similar to chatting with Google’s AI “Gemini”), new charting tools to visualize financial data, and a live news feed for real-time market trends and headlines.
- As this is a beta version, a toggle switch is provided to allow users to switch between the existing “Classic” design and the new beta experience.
On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, Google expanded the AI-integrated beta version of its financial information service, “Google Finance“—which originally launched in the U.S. on Friday, August 8, 2025—to over 100 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Mexico, and Japan.
The AI-integrated “Google Finance” beta features a research tool that provides comprehensive answers to specific financial questions, similar to chatting with Google’s AI “Gemini.” It also includes new charting tools for visualizing financial data and a live news feed to track the latest headlines and market trends in real time. Because this is still a beta version, a toggle switch is available for users to switch between the original “Classic” design and the new beta interface.

While Google announced that the rollout of the AI-integrated “Google Finance” beta to over 100 countries would take place over the coming weeks, I have already confirmed its availability in my environment in Japan.
