On Monday, March 23, 2026, Google-owned fitness device manufacturer Fitbit provided a follow-up report on its official Fitbit Status Dashboard regarding the fix for the pedometer bug on the Google Pixel Watch series, which was previously reported on Friday, March 20, 2026.
The pedometer bug that occurred on the Google Pixel Watch series caused data to display incorrect figures, leading to an overcount of steps and calories burned. This issue reportedly affected a portion of Google Pixel Watch users.

It appears that this pedometer bug on the Google Pixel Watch series has been resolved on the server side. However, the fix only applies to new measurements; the steps and calories that were incorrectly overcounted will not be retroactively corrected.
