Google’s content curation service, “Google Discover,” is constantly receiving UI and backend updates, and it appears that a new feature has been rolled out as of around March 2026.
The new “Google Discover” feature is the generation of website profile pages. Tapping the website name on any content card displayed in “Google Discover” now brings up a dedicated website profile page.
These profile pages, which are accessible from “Google Discover,” are described as “Google-generated profiles,” serving as a summary of information about the website that Google has captured. They primarily showcase content published by the website in question.

In fact, this website profile page for “Google Discover” is a dedicated space that was first announced in September 2025 alongside the “Follow” feature for Discover. Beyond the “Follow” button for the website, it also displays associated social media accounts such as X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
However, as these profile pages may still be in development, the types of content displayed vary from site to site. For instance, while our site maintains accounts for X, Facebook, and Threads and has specified them via structured markup, only our website URL was displayed. While expanding the content of these “Google Discover” profile pages may become a key factor in future SEO, it remains unclear exactly what sources Google uses to generate this information.
Furthermore, it seems that the rollout of these website profile pages in “Google Discover” is currently limited to specific Google accounts and platforms (Android/iOS). In my case, I was able to access the profile page when viewing “Google Discover” within the Android version of the “Google” app using my main Google account.
I have not yet been able to access these website profile pages using the iOS version of the “Google” app or other Google accounts.
