On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Google announced the rollout of outgoing “Calling Cards” for the default Android “Phone by Google” app as part of the “New Android Features” update for March 2026.
The “Calling Card” feature in the “Phone by Google” app was previously designed for setting individual cards for contacts in your Google Contacts, allowing for easy identification when receiving a call. However, with the new update, users can now set their own outgoing “Calling Card,” enabling them to display their customized information to the person they are calling.

The configured outgoing “Calling Card” can be shared with all call recipients who support the feature, or it can be restricted to specific contacts only. Note that the outgoing “Calling Card” will only be displayed if the recipient also has “Calling Card” support enabled.
