But with this latest update, the status has finally returned to [January 1, 2026]. In other words, the January 2026 version of the “Google Play System Update” is being re-released.

That said, it is already late February 2026. While it was a future date initially, it is now a date in the past. Google may be having some difficulties in the development of the “Google Play System Update.”
