Integration of “Google Shopping”
While originally announced in November 2025, the integration of “Google Shopping” content into the Gemini app has been highlighted as part of this update.
The shopping features in the Gemini app not only provide answers to help users choose the best products when they ask shopping-related questions, but also allow them to shop online directly from those responses. Previously, the Gemini app primarily returned text-based answers. With the introduction of shopping features, Gemini responses now include product information such as photos and URL links, allowing users to complete their online shopping experience while reviewing the best product options.
This Google Shopping feature for Gemini is being introduced starting in the US.
