“Personal Intelligence”

“Personal Intelligence” is a personal AI assistant feature that can be described as an evolved version of “App Extensions.” it provides more personalized information and anticipates user needs more specifically than ever before.

By cross-referencing personal data stored across services like “Gmail,” “Google Photos,” “YouTube (watch history),” and “Google Search (history),” it can extract specific details and reason from the sources to provide precise answers.

Major Update to “Gemini in Chrome”

As a major update to “Gemini in Chrome,” the Google AI-integrated browser service for Windows, macOS, and Chromebook Plus, the most intelligent AI model “Gemini 3” has been introduced.

Along with the introduction of “Gemini 3,” several other new features are being rolled out, including a new side panel, AI image generation via “Nano Banana,” support for Google app connections, the introduction of “Personal Intelligence,” the deployment of the autonomous agent “Auto browse,” and new defensive security features.

Functional Improvements to “Ingredients to Video” in “Veo 3.1”

Google has announced functional improvements to “Ingredients to Video,” a feature in the video generation AI model “Veo 3.1” that generates videos based on reference images.

The update to “Ingredients to Video” allows for more expressive and creative video generation even from simple prompts. It also adds support for vertical 9:16 aspect ratio videos optimized for mobile platforms, as well as high-resolution 1080p and 4K video generation. These improvements for creative generation and vertical video are rolling out to the Gemini app, as well as other services powered by Veo 3.1, including the YouTube app, YouTube Create app, Flow, Google Vids, the Gemini API, and Vertex AI.

SAT Practice Feature

Google has begun rolling out a new feature within Gemini that allows users to practice for the SAT, the US college entrance examination.

With Gemini, students can study for the SAT for free.

Introduction of “Google Shopping”

Although first mentioned in November 2025, the introduction of “Google Shopping” content into the Gemini app has been officially highlighted.

With the shopping features integrated into the Gemini app, when users ask product-related questions, the AI will not only provide answers to help them choose the best item but will also allow them to shop online directly from those answers. Previously, Gemini primarily provided text-based responses, but with the introduction of shopping features, product information such as photos and URL links are displayed within the response, allowing users to complete their online shopping experience while confirming product details.
