- The January 2026 monthly software update has not yet arrived on my Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
- There have been no official reports of software update delays from Google or the carriers selling the Google Pixel.
- Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
On Monday, January 12, 2026, Google began rolling out the January 2026 monthly software update—which includes security vulnerability fixes and functional enhancements—to 15 Google Pixel models running the new generation Android OS, “Android 16”: the Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel 9a, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
More than 10 days have passed since then, but the January 2026 monthly software update has still not arrived on my own Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Meanwhile, my other devices, such as the Pixel 9a, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel Tablet, and Pixel Fold, have already received the update.
While no reports of software update delays have been issued by Google or the carriers selling the Google Pixel, the January 2026 monthly software update simply isn’t showing up for my Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
I have seen a few posts on social media from users experiencing similar symptoms, but there don’t seem to be very many of them.

It is possible to manually apply the update using the OTA images provided by Google, but I’d rather not risk “bricking” my device if something goes wrong. For now, I’ll wait a little longer and see what happens. Is anyone else in the same situation?
