The update confirmed this time involves the design of so-called “progress indicators,” such as app download/install icons and loading icons within the Android version of the “Google Play Store” app. Signature features of “Material 3 Expressive,” such as the wavy animation and seamless icon shape transitions, have been introduced.
This implementation of the “Material 3 Expressive” design for “progress indicators” in the Android version of the “Google Play Store” app has been observed around version v49.7 of the Google Play Store app and version v26.03 of the Google Play Services app for Android.
