In the January 2026 edition of the “Google System Release Notes” published on Monday, January 12, 2026—which summarizes information on “Google System Updates” aimed at improving the security and reliability of Android-related devices—Google announced a new feature for the Android and Wear OS versions of the “Google Wallet” app. This update will allow users to view transaction histories from other devices and online purchases made using virtual card numbers.

Previously, the Android and Wear OS versions of the “Google Wallet” app only allowed users to check payment transaction history performed on that specific device. However, moving forward, users will be able to collectively view transactions from other devices logged into the same Google account and history for online purchases made using virtual card numbers, similar to the web version of “Google Wallet.”

This new feature for the Android and Wear OS “Google Wallet” apps is scheduled to be rolled out with “Google Play services” app v26.01 or later.
