On Friday, December 19, 2025, Google launched the “Google Pixel Upgrade Program” in India, a new device replacement program for the next-generation Pixel lineup, including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

The “Google Pixel Upgrade Program” introduced in India is a replacement scheme starting at 3,333 Indian Rupees (approx. 6,000 JPY) per month. The monthly rates are 3,333 INR (approx. 6,000 JPY) for the Pixel 10, 4,583 INR (approx. 8,000 JPY) for the Pixel 10 Pro, 5,208 INR (approx. 9,150 JPY) for the Pixel 10 Pro XL, and 7,208 INR (approx. 12,700 JPY) for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Fundamentally, the “Google Pixel Upgrade Program” operates as a 24-month interest-free installment plan for Google Pixel devices. However, if the device powers on normally and shows no signs of unauthorized modifications, users have the option to return their current device and upgrade to a new Google Pixel model once 9 months of payments have been completed. Additionally, if the 24-month interest-free installment plan is completed in full, the device becomes the user’s property without the need for a return.

Furthermore, the “Google Pixel Upgrade Program” includes trial subscriptions for “Google AI Pro,” “YouTube Premium,” and “Fitbit Premium.” When starting the program, users who trade in an old device will also receive a trade-in bonus of +7,000 Indian Rupees (approx. 12,300 JPY) on top of the standard trade-in value.

While the “Google Pixel Upgrade Program” has made its global debut in India, it appears to be a program that could potentially expand to other regions in the future.
