The second December 2025 monthly update applies to the same 12 devices for which the Android 16 QPR2 minor OS update was suspended as of Monday, December 15, 2025: the Pixel 8a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 9a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series are not eligible for this second December update.
Note that for the Pixel 7a, the Android 16 QPR2 minor OS update itself has not yet been released.


After applying the second December 2025 monthly update to the Pixel 8a, 8, 8 Pro, 9a, 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 9 Pro Fold, 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold, the build number will be updated to a version based on “BP4A.251205.006.xx”. We have confirmed that Japanese models of the Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold have been updated to “BP4A.251205.006.C2”.
