On Monday, November 17, 2025, Google announced “Veo in Vids,” an integrated feature for its video editing service, Google Vids, which is part of the Google Workspace groupware. This feature incorporates the updated video generation AI model, Veo 3.1.
“Veo in Vids,” the Veo 3.1 integration feature in Google Vids, is a video generation AI function that creates an 8-second video clip from up to three uploaded images and a prompt. For example, you can upload images of a new product and enter a product introduction prompt to generate a short video showcasing that product.
The feature can be used in various ways, such as uploading a company or organization’s logo and entering a prompt to create a movie-style opening, which generates an impressive opening video centered on the logo. You can also upload an image of a woman and a cosmetic product with a prompt for a review-style video to create a video of the woman introducing the cosmetic.

However, the “Veo in Vids” feature in Google Vids is a premium feature available to Google Workspace accounts and members of the “Google AI Pro” and “Google AI Ultra” plans for the Google One online storage service. Although the “Gemini” features in Google Vids were just made free for general Google users, it seems “Veo in Vids” will not be part of the free release.
