Google は 2025 年 11 月 10 日（月）に公開した Android 関連デバイス向け新機能リリースノートコンテンツ「Google システム アップデート」にて、Android の「緊急 SOS」にて解禁される「ライブ動画共有」機能を発表しました。

「緊急 SOS」新機能の「ライブ動画共有」は、Android にて「緊急 SOS」を起動した際に「ライブ動画共有」機能を利用できる機能です。「ライブ動画共有」は一般的なライブ配信ができるわけではなく、緊急通報側にライブ映像が共有され、より緊急性を知らせることができます。

そのためおそらく、緊急通報側も共有されるライブ映像を閲覧できる環境にないと意味はありません。とはいえ、「緊急 SOS」の「ライブ動画共有」では、動画の録画「緊急動画の録画」も同時に行われます。

むしろこれまでの「緊急動画の録画」に、「ライブ動画共有」機能が追加されたわけです。ちなみに「緊急 SOS」新機能の「ライブ動画共有」、以前より噂されていましたが、ようやくの公式発表となりました。

「緊急 SOS」新機能の「ライブ動画共有」は、Android 版「Google Play 開発者サービス」アプリ v25.44 以降で展開されます。ただ、Android 版「Google Play 開発者サービス」アプリ v25.44 はすでに配信されていますが、まだ「ライブ動画共有」に関連する設定などは未確認です。
